– Expansion in office space: MVTec‘s office and laboratory covers
   3 floors for more than 40 highly qualified experts
– MVTec Vision Kit – a showcase for live presentations of

  – HALCON introduces gray value calibration, line scan calibration,
   native support of Windows 64 bit version
– With HDevEngine and HDevelop, HALCON offers the first high-
   grade IDE for machine vision
– HALCON Embedded captures the market for intelligent cameras
– ActivVisionTools provides fast, reliable OCR, and many
   pre-trained fonts

2003 
  – HALCON introduces component-based matching,
   data code reader, binocular stereo vision
– ActivVisionTools supports .NET

2002 
  – Already 31 distributors in 23 countries sell MVTec products
– ActivVisionTools: easy integration into process by digital I/O

2000 
  – New product: ActivVisionTools – fully interactive, for development
   without the need of programming

   initiates automatic operator parallelization
1999 
  – Relocation to new office space with 9 employees
– HALCON provides bar code reader, OCV

  – HALCON introduces feature-based OCR

  – First distributors in Japan and Germany
– Release of the industrial software HALCON based on extensive
   research
