HALCON Demo Version

In its installer from the HALCON DVD and the web download, HALCON includes a demo version of the rapid prototyping tool HDevelop with the full image processing functionality, but the following limitations: Programs cannot be saved. External procedures cannot be created. Program lines cannot be copied into the system clipboard. No support of image acquisition interfaces and extension packages. A reminder pops up every 100 executed operators, but no more than every 10 seconds. No access from C, C++, COM, or .NET since the demo software does include neither the HALCON library nor the corresponding language interfaces. The good news is that you can test all HALCON operators with full functionality and speed for an unlimited period of time!

HALCON Download Account - Registration

Before you can download HALCON and with it the demo, you must register yourself once to get a download account together with a password and a login. There is nothing else you need for downloading and running HALCON as a demo version.

Instead of downloading the HALCON software, you can also get a DVD of HALCON 9.0 from your local distributor. Either way you will be able to install and run HALCON as a demo version.
