| Demo Installation Guidelines:
|
Windows:
-
Download the exe-file containing the
HALCON 10 demo version.
-
Start halcon-10.0.2-demo-with-images-windows.exe to install the
software and to set up the environment.
- Enjoy.
Linux/UNIX:
-
Download the gzipped tar archive containing the
HALCON 10 demo version.
-
Create a new temporary directory
(e.g. /tmp/halcon10) and unpack the
archive within this directory.
-
Execute the install-unix.sh script. This will lead you through
the installation options and generate profiles to set up your
environment for using the HALCON 10 demo version.
Note that after installing HALCON 10 the temporary directory
is not needed anymore, i.e., it can be safely removed.
-
Based on the generated profiles, consider integrating the
HALCONROOT,
HALCONARCH,
HALCONIMAGES,
LD_LIBRARY_PATH, and
PATH settings into your configuration.
- Enjoy.
