New revision 4.12 / 5.3 of the HALCON 10 / 11 GigEVision interface released which includes several bug fixes and improvements, in particular in the underlying GigE Vision transport layer. Furthermore, the new interface revision allows to receive only the newest images without the need to explicitly flush buffers (registered customers can download it here).

HALCON 11.0.1 - out now! The newest maintenance release 11.0.1 of HALCON 11 is now ready for download. It is the first HALCON release to officially support Windows 8 and Mac OS X 10.8. HALCON 11.0.1 includes several enhancements, such as reduced memory consumption of some bar code and data code operators, or improvements of the OCR Training File Browser. HDevelop has been extended with an inspection window for 3D object model variables, which also allows to visualize the 3D object model. HALCON 11.0.1 includes several further enhancements, documentation updates, and fixes of all currently known bugs. Have a look at the release notes for a detailed description of HALCON 11.0.1. Registered customers can download the HALCON 11.0.1 or a package to update an older release of HALCON 11.

Furthermore, small memory leaks during initialization and closing were fixed and the default settings during initialization were changed in order to use the camera default settings (registered customers can download it here).
