HALCON not only supports a large variety of image acquisition devices, but also different operating systems and programming languages to always fit your needs.
- Image acquisition hardware: HALCON ships with ready-to-use interfaces to more than 50 frame grabbers and hundreds of industrial cameras (analog, USB 2.0, IEEE 1394, and GigE). Because of its open interface, you can easily integrate additional image acquisition devices into HALCON. Moreover, you can pass images to HALCON via their memory address.
- Hardware / CPUs: HALCON supports a wide range of different processor types - not only for PCs, but also for embedded systems. Moreover, HALCON also actively exploits the power of multi-processor and multi-core computers with Parallel HALCON.
- Operating systems: HALCON can be used both under Windows and Linux/UNIX. This is not only true for the library, but also for HALCON's interactive programming environment HDevelop. See an overview of all supported operating systems.
