New revision 3.2 of the GigEVision interface available which provides a new acquisition mode to enforce the grabbing of latest available images, broadcast device discovery, new parameters for IP configuration and block timeout, automatic checking for firewalls on Windows XP, and support of real-time scheduling policy on Linux systems. Outstanding new features are the completely redesigned and improved ActivBarcode, support for the latest image acquisition technology and standards, significant speed-ups of the entire software, and several further improvements. New revision 2.1 of the pylon interface released which is adapted to the new Basler pylon SDK version 0.9 and supports now also the scout IEEE 1394 cameras. Furthermore, also all color camera models are supported; new revision 2.5 of the HALCON 7.1 BaumerFCAM interface released which includes the new parameters 'image_available' and 'shutter_mode'. Furthermore, the new parameter 'continuous_grabbing' allows to switch between continuous grabbing and software trigger mode (registered customers can download it here).

The newest maintenance release 3.1.1 of ActivVisionTools 3.1 is available. This new release not only contains the full product version of ActivVisionTools 3.1.1, but also a new free demo consisting of an animated product introduction and several ready-to-run applications which demonstrate the power of ActivVisionTools without installing it on the computer. For example, you can directly use ActivViewer to grab, inspect, and save images for free and without any extra license. Of course, the new release also includes fixes of all currently known bugs.
