MVTec Welcomes 33rd Image Acquisition Partner MVTec welcomes the companies ADLINK, Crevis, Kappa, MATRIX VISION, and Sentech as new partners of the MVTec Image Acquisition Partner (IAP) Program. With now more than 30 qualified members worldwide, the program continues to be the largest image acquisition partner network at the market.
Two years ago during the VISION show in Stuttgart, MVTec founded the IAP Program. Now the number of partners has increased to 33. MVTec will celebrate this success by hosting a partner meeting at the VISION 2009 in November.
"At the beginning, we could not anticipate this rapid growth of the MVTec Image Acquisition Partner Program", declares MVTec's product manager Christoph Zierl. "All the more, I am pleased to invite our partners at this year's VISION show in Stuttgart to the MVTec IAP meeting to refer newest information and to strengthen our partnership."
The intention of the MVTec IAP program is to provide a maximum of support and flexibility to the customer. It enables customers to choose the image acquisition devices that are best suited to their application and connect them seamlessly to MVTec software (HALCON or ActivVisionTools). Thus, MVTec maintains a close partnership to important manufacturers of cameras and frame grabbers. This partnership leads to a deeper understanding of each other's products and ensures the trouble-free integration of software and hardware at the customer's application.
