Under the motto “Discover the Potential of Machine Vision”, the company will present practical, hands-on machine vision know-how on February 12, 2025, at the “Veranstaltungsforum Fürstenfeldbruck” near Munich. Attendees will be informed about current trends as well as the latest technologies and product features. “Thanks to our proven concept, our Innovation Day has established itself as a popular event in the machine vision industry. Even in a challenging market environment, we offer developers and users of machine vision applications a platform, share know-how and provide new impetus. We are very pleased to once again present a varied program to the participants. They will benefit from a comprehensive overview of current topics in the industry,” explains Dr. Olaf Munkelt, Managing Director of MVTec Software GmbH.
Innovation Day: proven concept - new impulses
Experts from MVTec and partner companies will present the latest advancements in machine vision applications through engaging live demos and expert presentations. The focus will be on illumination, wafer production with machine vision and 3D matching based on deep learning. Representatives of the French automation specialist AKEOPLUS will present a practical application from the aerospace industry in a guest lecture: A robot cell for the production of satellite panels that works almost autonomously and with maximum precision thanks to machine vision. The program will be rounded off by a panel discussion on the topic “Advancing Image Acquisition - Moving Past Traditional 2D Imaging”.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore a wide range of industry topics, such as code reading, anomaly detection, and much more, through numerous live demos. As in previous years, the many networking opportunities will be a central feature of the Innovation Day. The event provides a platform for professional exchange and engaging discussions. The traditional networking evening, held at the close of the event, is especially well-suited for this purpose.
MVTec offers a live stream for interested parties who are unable to attend on site.
