Easy-to-use software for a simple introduction to machine vision

MVTec MERLIC is a particularly good choice for machine vision beginners looking for a powerful standard software suitable for creating complete machine vision applications. The tool library integrated into MERLIC allows users to perform all important machine vision tasks easily – from measurements and presence / absence checks to code reading and surface inspections. Drag-and-drop functions make it easy to configure the workflow. The individual process steps can each be parameterized separately and shifted around as needed. MERLIC also enables complex deep learning applications to be easily implemented.

Ulf Schulmeyer already has a clear idea of the direction in which he wants to take the machine vision software. "Along with traditional machine vision technologies, we’re also emphasizing easy process integration. We already offer many preconfigured communication interfaces for connecting seamlessly to the production line. We plan to expand this selection."

MVTec Managing Director Dr. Olaf Munkelt looks forward to working with the new product manager. "We were able to bring a true expert with many years of experience on board for the key position of product manager. Ulf Schulmeyer will lend fresh impetus to MERLIC and play an important role in meeting the high demand for easy-to-use machine vision software on the market."
