MVTec has recently launched its MVTec Image Acquisition Partner Program as continuation to the already existing close partnerships with image acquisition device manufacturers. The goal of this program is the development and support of image acquisition interfaces to provide the best possible integration of the image acquisition devices of partners into MVTec's software products HALCON and ActivVisionTools.
Some of the benefits for official partners include, but are not limited to, various marketing materials (see the certificate and stand-up display on the picture to the right), permanent loan of a HALCON and ActivVisionTools development license, cooperation in image acquisition interface development, maintenance, and support, and a dedicated communication channel. Furthermore, coordinated software releases and marketing efforts are part of the program.
