MVTec welcomes EnShape GmbH (Jena, Germany) and ifm electronic GmbH (Essen, Germany) as new members of the MVTec Image Acquisition Partner Program.
EnShape is a developer and producer of optical 3D machine vision sensors. The 3D sensors Inspect and Detect are unique by providing both a high 3D measurement precision and short measurement time. By this, the sensors are ideal for industrial applications where precision is needed and time is critical. Even in demanding robot applications (bin picking, pick and place) and quality inspection tasks (defect detection) the sensors convince with speed, accuracy, and performance. Both, Inspect and Detect can be accessed directly from HALCON via a dedicated HALCON extension package.
ifm electronic is an international manufacturer for innovative automation technology. Since its company foundation in 1969 ifm develops and distributes sensors and control systems for industrial automation. The company’s portfolio includes 3D time-of-flight cameras (O3D3xx), which also provide a grey-scale image of the scene besides the distance image. The cameras are supported by the HALCON 12 O3D3xx interface.
