The threshold images must be computed with prepare_variation_modelprepare_variation_modelPrepareVariationModelPrepareVariationModelPrepareVariationModelprepare_variation_model or prepare_direct_variation_modelprepare_direct_variation_modelPrepareDirectVariationModelPrepareDirectVariationModelPrepareDirectVariationModelprepare_direct_variation_model before they can be read out.
