Das serialisierte Modell wird in dem Handle SerializedItemHandleSerializedItemHandleSerializedItemHandleSerializedItemHandleserializedItemHandleserialized_item_handle übergeben. Die deserialisierten Werte werden in einem dafür automatisch erzeugten Lichtschnitt-Modell mit dem Handle SheetOfLightModelIDSheetOfLightModelIDSheetOfLightModelIDSheetOfLightModelIDsheetOfLightModelIDsheet_of_light_model_id gespeichert.
