Disconnecting the Server

If you want to disconnect the client from the server, you can do this by simply clicking on the "Disconnect" button.

If you simply end the MERLIC RTE process instead, the server transitions into the "Halted" state which signals that MERLIC is no longer running in the background. At this point it is safe to end the Communicator via "Ctrl+C" or by closing the respective command prompt window.
