Identification of Produce without any Bar or Data Code (SBI)

As a unique feature, HALCON offers the “Sample-based Identification” (SBI) technology. With this innovative technology, thousands of trained objects can be recognized only by characteristic features like color or texture, thereby eliminating the need to use bar codes or data codes for object identification purposes. The special features: SBI is general with regard to the type of object, SBI shows a high robustness, SBI is fast even for a large number (e.g. thousands) of objects to be distinguished, and SBI offers an extremely high usability even for non-expert users.
