MVTec HALCON Steady University Edition
- based on HALCON Steady
- no mandatory version
- includes technical support from MVTec's local sales partners
- perpetual license
- regular maintenance updates
- license activation via dongle/host ID
- licenses are distributed by HALCON sales partners

Academic teaching
The employees of the research department regularly give lectures on machine vision at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and supervise bachelor, master and doctoral theses. Additionally, MVTec offers interesting internships for students who are interested in machine vision.
MVTec sponsors the DAGM MVTec Dissertation Award of the German Association for Pattern Recognition (DAGM) in order to honor outstanding dissertations in the fields of pattern recognition, image processing, machine vision, and machine learning.
