Description

The operator move_contour_origmove_contour_origMoveContourOrigmove_contour_origMoveContourOrigMoveContourOrig relocates the input contour so that the origin lies in the centre of gravity.

It should be noted that move_contour_origmove_contour_origMoveContourOrigmove_contour_origMoveContourOrigMoveContourOrig only returns useful results if the contour encloses a region in the plane. In particular, the contour must not intersect itself. This is particularly important if open contours are passed because they are closed automatically, which can produce a self-intersection. To test whether the contours intersect themselves, test_self_intersection_xldtest_self_intersection_xldTestSelfIntersectionXldtest_self_intersection_xldTestSelfIntersectionXldTestSelfIntersectionXld can be used.
