Inserting and Deleting Widgets

Compose your Frontend design by inserting all widgets needed for your requirements. You can insert as many widgets as you like and adjust their properties according to your preferences. See the chapter Adjusting Your Widgets to get more information about how you can change the properties of your inserted widgets.

Inserting Widgets

There are several ways to insert a widget to your workspace.

How to Insert a Widget by Drag-and-Drop

Select a widget from the "Widget Library".
Drag the widget into the workspace and place it at your preferred position.

How to Insert a Widget by Double Click

Select a widget from the "Widget Library".
Double-click on the widget. The widget is instantly inserted in the workspace at the upper left corner.
Move the widget to your preferred position.

In contrast to inserting a widget via drag-and-drop, this method enables you to insert a widget only at the default position.

Deleting Widgets

There are also several ways to delete a widget from your workspace.

Select the widget you want to delete and press the Del key.
Right-click on the widget and select "Delete" from the context menu.
Alternatively you can delete a widget by selecting it, opening "Edit" in the Menu Bar and clicking on "Cut" (Ctrl + X).
