Referencing Sequences in Recipes

An acquisition sequence can also be referenced via MERLIC recipes. The referenced acquisition sequence will then be activated when the respective recipe is prepared in MERLIC RTE mode. This enables you to define in advance which acquisition sequence shall be used for a recipe and to switch the acquisition sequences by preparing the respective recipe.

You can select the desired acquisition sequence when creating a recipe. For more information, see Creating a MERLIC Recipe.

After importing the recipe in the MERLIC RTE Setup, the referenced sequence will be displayed in the "Recipes" tab.

When using MERLIC RTE, preparing a recipe that references a sequence with issues, that is, which shows a warning or error in the MERLIC RTE Setup, will fail. In this case, MERLIC RTE will fire an error event with the respective details and stay in the "Initialized" state.
