Using MERLIC RTE
If you finished setting up all components for the process integration, you can start working in the process integration mode of MERLIC (MERLIC RTE).
In the following, you can find information on running and configuring MERLIC RTE. You can also get information on the possibilities to change settings and to take control while MERLIC RTE is running. The section Using Communication Plug-ins lists the pages that provide general information on running communication plug-ins and some additional configuration options that apply only for communication plug-ins.
If MERLIC Creator is currently running, you have to close it before starting MERLIC RTE. Otherwise, the process integration mode cannot be started properly.
If you are using the Image Source Manager (ISM) for the image acquisition, don't forget to set an RTE startup configuration for MERLIC RTE. For more information, see Defining a Startup Configuration for MERLIC RTE.
