Keyboard Shortcuts

Open the context-sensitive help. This means that the MERLIC manual will open at the point that describes the element that is currently in focus.

Close the instance of MERLIC currently in use, such as the MERLIC Creator, MERLIC Designer, MERLIC Frontend, or MERLIC RTE Setup.

Select the whole text of an input field.

Copy the selected text from an input field.

Paste the previously copied text into an input field.

Cut the selected text from an input field.

In an input field, redo the previously undone entry.

Add the current processing image to the training images in the Tool Workspace. This shortcut is available in MERLIC tools that require multiple training images.

Start or stop a continuous execution of the MERLIC Vision App.

Execute the MERLIC Vision App once. The next image is processed.

Open the Image Source Configuration in the MERLIC RTE Setup.

Open the "Recipes" tab in the MERLIC RTE Setup.

Open the Designer to create a Frontend for your MERLIC application.

Open the Frontend to execute your MERLIC Vision App in your designed Frontend.

Press the Alt key or the AltGr key while moving the mouse over the image to display the image coordinates and gray value of the pixel at the current mouse position.

The arrow keys can be used in different locations in the MERLIC Creator: in the Tool Flow panel, the Tool Library, and in the Tool Board.

In the Tool Flow panel, they can be used to move the selected tool to a new position. In the Tool Library, they can be used to navigate through the tools and to add the selected tool to the Tool Flow. In the Tool Board, they can be used to move the selected ROI within the graphic window.

Zoom into the image within the graphics window.

Zoom out of the image within the graphics window.

Zoom into and out of the image within the graphics window.

Zoom into and out of the Tool Flow within the Tool Flow panel.

Reset the image within the graphics window to its original size.

Copy the selected tools in the Tool Flow panel.

Group the selected tools in the Tool Flow panel.

Open a new MERLIC Vision App.

Open a previously saved application. Select a MERLIC Vision App (.mvapp) from your files.

Save the current application as MERLIC Vision App.

Select a name and destination for saving the current application as .mvapp file.

Ungroup the tools of the selected group in the Tool Flow panel.

Paste the selected tools within the Tool Flow panel.

Delete a tool within the Tool Flow panel.

Open the MERLIC Frontend to execute your MERLIC Vision App in your designed Frontend.

Move the widget down within the workspace.

Move the widget to the left within the workspace.

Move the widget to the right within the workspace.

Move the widget up within the workspace.

Align the selected widgets to the bottom border of the last selected widget.

Align the selected widgets horizontally to the center of the last selected widget.

Align the selected widgets to the left border of the last selected widget.

Align the selected widgets to the right border of the last selected widget.

Align the selected widgets to the top border of the last selected widget.

Align the selected widgets vertically to the center of the last selected widget.

Copy the active widget with all its properties from your workspace.

Save the current application as MERLIC Vision App.

Paste the previously copied widget into the workspace.

Cut the active widget with all its properties from your workspace.

Redo an action that has been undone.

Undo the last action in the Designer.

Acquire or release the write lock for the Frontend during the MERLIC RTE mode.

Add the current processing image as training image in the "Training" widget. This shortcut is only available if the Frontend design of the MERLIC Vision App contains a "Training" widget and the training mode is activated.

Start or stop a continuous execution of the MERLIC Vision App.

Execute the MERLIC Vision App once. The next image is processed.

Toggle between full screen mode and window mode.

Close the MERLIC Frontend.

Zoom into and out of the image within an "Image Display" widget.

Reset the image size within an "Image Display" widget to its original size and position.

Move to the plug-in below in the "Communication" tab of the MERLIC RTE Setup.

Move to the tab on the left in the MERLIC RTE Setup.

Move to the tab on the right in the MERLIC RTE Setup.

Reset the image to its original size.

Zoom into the image.

Zoom out of the image. If the image already fits the graphic window, this shortcut is disabled.

Zoom into and out of the image at the position of the mouse cursor.
