MERLIC Frontend

The MERLIC Frontend serves as user interface for your MVApp. It visualizes the graphical user interface that was previously configured for the MVApp in the Frontend Designer. The MERLIC Frontend can be used directly by the machine operators and allows monitoring the state and results of your application. Depending on the configuration, it may allow users to configure parameters of the application and execute the application directly in the MERLIC Frontend.

The MERLIC Frontend is an individual application and can be started independently from MERLIC. It connects to a MERLIC server, that is, a MERLIC core The processing unit of a running MERLIC Vision App. running on the local computer or on a remote computer connected by a network link. The server can be either an instance of MERLIC Creator or MERLIC RTE. It is also possible to open multiple MERLIC Frontends connected to the same MERLIC server.
