Setting up the User Management
MERLIC comes with an integrated user management system for the Frontend. This allows you to control the access permissions of a MERLIC Vision App in the Frontend for individual users. If the user management is enabled for an application, you may create new users and define user groups. When the MERLIC Vision App is opened in the Frontend the users need to enter their login details to access the application.
To control which users are allowed to access a specific view A Designer view represents an individual tab card in the Designer with its own workspace. It can be used to design a Frontend with multiple tab cards. Each view can be designed individually and set with individual access rights., you may set different access rights for each user group. The settings for the user management must be adjusted in the MERLIC Designer when creating the Frontend design of your application.
