Create Circle
Use this tool to create one or more circular regions of interest (ROIs). A default circle is automatically generated when the tool is inserted. You may adapt the size and position of the circle or add further circles using the ROI button .
Parameters
Basic Parameters
Image:
This parameter represents the input image.
X:
This parameter defines the position of the circle in X direction. It is defined in pixels and set to 200 px by default. You can change the position interactively in the image by dragging the handle in the center of the circle. The X value is automatically adjusted. Alternatively you can change the position at the corresponding connector.
Y:
This parameter defines the position of the circle in Y direction. It is defined in pixels and set to 200 px by default. You can change the position interactively in the image by dragging the handle in the center of the circle. The "Y" value is automatically adjusted. Alternatively you can change the position at the corresponding connector.
Radius:
This parameter defines the radius of the circle in pixels. It is defined in pixels and set to 100 px by default. You can change the size of the circle interactively in the image by dragging on the handle of the circle border. The value of the "Radius" is automatically adjusted. Alternatively you can change the size with the slider of the corresponding connector.
Additional Parameters
ROI:
This parameter defines the region of interest (ROI) for the processing. A default circle is automatically generated when the tool is inserted. You can adjust the default circle to your preferences or add further circle ROIs using the ROI button . If you want to use a circle ROI of a previous tool, you have to connect the parameter to the respective ROI result of a previous tool to make sure that an ROI is transmitted to this tool.
Results
Basic Results
Circle:
This result returns the created circular ROIs.
Tool State:
"Tool State" returns information about the state of the tool and thus can be used for error handling. For more information, see Tool State Result
Additional Results
Processing Time:
This result returns the duration of the most recent execution of the tool in milliseconds. The result is provided as additional result. Therefore, it is hidden by default but it can be displayed via the button beside the tool results. For more information see the section Processing Time in the tool reference overview.
