Menu Bar
The menu bar of the MERLIC Designer allows you to access necessary functionality you might need while working with MERLIC. It contains several drop-down menus as well as a selection of buttons that provide shortcuts for frequently used functions.

Adjust properties of the grid in the 'Grip Properties' dialog. Set the size of the grid, i.e., the distance between the grid points. Set the color of the grid. |

Adjust properties of the Frontend in the 'Frontend Properties' dialog. Choose a name that is displayed at the window title of the Frontend. Display or hide the menu bar of the Frontend. |

Select Languages ... |
Select the language(s) in which the defined widget texts shall be available in the Frontend. For some texts a translation is required to display the texts in the selected language. Read the chapter Language Settings for the Frontend for more information. |

Default Languages |
Select the default language in which the Frontend shall be opened. Read the chapter Setting the Default Language for the Frontend for more information. |
|
Export Translation Files (.ts) |
Export the texts of the Frontend into a .ts language file. The .ts file can then be used for the translation of the Frontend texts. |

Import Translation Files (.ts) ... |
Import one or more translated .ts language file(s) that contain the translation of the Frontend texts. |

Enable User Management |
Enable or disable the user management for the Frontend. The user management is enabled if the menu entry is checked, else it is disabled. Read the chapter Setting up the User Management for more information. |

Edit User Management |
Open the user management dialog to adjust the settings for the Frontend users. |

Launch Frontend: Open the Frontend to execute your MERLIC Vision App in your designed Frontend.
