Locate bright spots in images. |
Locate bright tips in images, i.e., small objects whose gray values are at least one value above the gray value of the background. This tool returns the objects as regions with additional information, i.e., their coordinates and the center points. For some use cases with bigger spots the tool Detect Stain might be more useful. To remove unwanted spots in an image instead, use the tool Remove Outlier Pixels or a tool from the category Filter. |

|
Locate objects in images with back light. |
Locate one or multiple objects with a similar area in images with back light. If you want to return the number of objects instead, use the tool Count in Back Light. |

|
Locate objects with similar brightness. |
Locate objects with similar gray values, i.e., objects that have a similar brightness and return them as regions. To check if objects are present at a specific location, use the tool Check Presence with Gray Features. To get the number of objects instead, use the tool Count Objects with Similar Gray Values. |

|
Locate objects with similar shapes. |
Locate objects with matching shapes or gray value relations, based on your preferences. To check if objects are present at a specific location, use the tool Check Presence with Matching. |
