Using a bottle as an example, the application performs expiration date reading, logo verification, bottle neck measurement, and cap defect inspection. Technologies such as Deep OCR, Shape-Based Matching, Measuring, and Global Context Anomaly Detection work together to deliver reliable inspection results.
The demonstration also highlights fast recipe changes for varying products, packaging formats, and inspection requirements. Built on MVTec's hardware-independent software technology, the solution combines flexibility with the robustness required for demanding food applications.
