3D Vision Technologies

3D Vision expands the capabilities of machine vision

MVTec software supports the capture, evaluation, and processing of sensor-based 3D data for inspection and automation tasks. This enables applications that are not possible with traditional 2D approaches – from bin-picking to quality control.

Technologies like HALCON’s 3D Scene Flow go even further and can even predict the movement of objects.

3D Gripping Point Detection: Visualization of automatically detected gripping points on a randomly arranged mixture of various objects in a 3D point cloud.
3D Gripping Point Detection

MVTec's 3D Gripping Point Detection automatically identifies suitable gripping surfaces on any object.

3D Matching

MVTec software detects objects and determines their 3D position – even with just one camera or depth sensor.

3D Reconstruction

Our software offers powerful features for reconstructing three-dimensional shapes.

Distances on the caliper can be measured in the presence of perspective distortions.
3D Calibration

Achieve precise 3D positioning with MVTec’s 3D calibration tools.

Perspective Matching

MVTec software detects objects and determines their 3D position – even with just one camera or depth sensor.
