Supported operating systems

MERLIC is available for Windows and Linux systems. On Windows, all components of MERLIC can be used. For Linux systems, currently only the runtime environment of MERLIC, MERLIC RTE and MERLIC Frontend are available.

Communication plugins	YES	YES

Developing the MVApp is still done on a Windows system with the MERLIC Creator. The application can then be used with MERLIC RTE and MERLIC Frontend on the Linux system. Cameras can be set up remotely with the help of MERLIC RTE Setup.

MERLIC is available for Windows 11 (64-bit, version 23H2) or newer.

Linux x86_64

MERLIC RTE and MERLIC Frontend are available on PC-based and Arm-based Linux 5.4 or newer systems.

Linux x86_64

Arm-based platform

MERLIC RTE and MERLIC Frontend are available on PC-based and Arm-based Linux 5.4 or newer systems.

Processor: Armv8-A-64bit compliant with support for NEON instruction set

Activating your dongle

Congratulations on your new MERLIC software!

To activate your MERLIC license, please proceed as described:

If you have not already done so, please register and install MERLIC at www.mvtec.com/downloads.
Plug the MERLIC dongle into your computer.
Go to www.merlic.com/webdepot and enter the number of the activation ticket you have received from your sales partner.
Select the license you want to activate as well as your dongle.
Read and accept the data privacy statement and click the "Activate Licenses" button.

You can now enjoy using MERLIC!
