Fast automated inspection of seals through 3D vision with HALCON

Vision Partners developed an automated crate classification system for return logistics using MVTec HALCON. The system identifies crate types in real time with two GigE cameras and directs them to the correct conveyors. Robust object detection drastically reduces manual sorting and significantly increases the efficiency of return flows.

Correct detection of distortions during print inspection with HALCON’s shape-based matching

CAPTIC Informatique et Vision Industrielle developed a custom print inspection system for glass ampoules in the medical sector using MVTec HALCON. Using anisotropic shape-based matching, the system reliably detects local distortions, minimizes false positives, and achieves an inspection rate of 120 ampoules per minute with only 0.05 % rejection.
