New MVTec Academy course "Defect detection"

This basic training introduces you to defect detection with MVTec HALCON. In this training, you learn different approaches and what to consider when developing a defect detection application. Then, you solve some challenging applications with different approaches.

Target group

This basic training is aimed at new HALCON users who want to get an overview of how to approach defect detection.

Objectives

After finishing this course, you will:

  • understand what defect detection in machine vision encompasses;
  • know how to properly define your application's defects;
  • know how to choose an illumination that facilitates your application; and
  • be able to compare and create different approaches to different defect detection challenges.

It will take you 95 minutes to complete the course.
