New MVTec Academy course "Image acquisition: The interface for modern camera technology"

This training course will introduce you to the new image acquisition operators. Through practical exercises, you will learn the necessary technical terms and concepts, and deepen your knowledge.

Target group

This course is for HALCON users who want to perform GenICam-based image acquisition using the new HALCON operators.

Objectives

After finishing this course, you will:

  • be able to use the new image source operators to acquire images,
  • understand what the image source handle concept entails and what you can do with it, and
  • be able to migrate a program using the old framegrabber operators to the new image source operators.

It will take you approximately 60-80 minutes to complete the course with all modules.
