How to setup and use line scan cameras

This advanced course teaches you how to design and implement line scan camera systems. Topics include synchronization, parameter selection, shading correction, and practical usage with HALCON.

Target group

This course is aimed at intermediate HALCON users who already understand basic image acquisition concepts and want to design and evaluate line scan camera systems.

Objectives

After finishing this course, you will...

be able to explain how a 2D image is generated from a line scan sensor.
be able to determine the required line frequency for a given setup.
be able to describe and design a synchronized line scan system.
understand the purpose and process of shading correction.

It will take you approximately 60 minutes to complete the course with all modules.
