New MVTec Academy course: Working with XLD contours

This basic training teaches you how to work with XLD contours. XLDs (eXtended Line Descriptions) are data structures that typically represent subpixel-precise edges and lines. They are therefore essential for machine vision tasks such as edge detection.

Target group

This basic training is aimed at HALCON users who want to learn how to use XLD contours.

Objectives

After finishing this course, you will:

know what XLDs contours, polygons, and parallels are,
understand what XLDs are useful for, and
be able to detect and process lines and edges while using XLDs.

It will take you approximately 45 minutes to complete the course with all modules.
