New MVTec Academy course: Count objects

This basic training introduces you to counting objects with MVTec HALCON. You learn different approaches and what to consider when developing an object counting application. Then, you will solve some applications with different approaches.

Target group

This basic training is aimed at new HALCON users who want to get an overview how to approach an object counting application.

Objectives

After finishing this course, you will:

know about different approaches to count objects and understand their differences,
understand how to choose the appropriate counting technique based on application requirements, and
be able to apply deep learning and rule-based approaches in specific counting applications.

It will take you approximately 85 minutes to complete the course with all modules.
