New MVTec Academy course: MVTec MERLIC on Edge

In this course, you will learn how to operate and deploy MVTec MERLIC on Edge on Siemens Industrial Edge Devices. You will understand how MERLIC fits into the Industrial Edge environment and how this setup helps you run machine vision applications directly on the shop floor with a simple and scalable workflow. The course is based on MERLIC 5.8 and includes practical examples and guided simulations that show how MERLIC is started and used on an Industrial Edge Device.

Target group

Engineers and integrators experienced with MERLIC who want to deploy MERLIC applications on Siemens Industrial Edge as part of their automation setup.

Objectives

After finishing this course, you will:

understand how MVTec MERLIC on Edge is structured and how MERLIC integrates into the Siemens Industrial Edge environment.
know how to prepare and configure MERLIC applications for execution on an Industrial Edge Device, including project files and recipes.
be able to deploy a MERLIC application step by step to an Edge Device and start it using the MERLIC Runtime Environment.
operate and monitor MVTec MERLIC on Edge through the MERLIC Frontend and understand the full deployment workflow from development to runtime.

It will take you approximately 90 minutes to complete the course with all modules.
