MVTec Software Manager 1.8.0: More automation and easier management

MVTec Software Manager 1.8.0 expands automation with new CLI capabilities for license management, profile management, and installation activation. Improved navigation and redesigned documentation make software management even easier.

The new version of the MVTec Software Manager offers expanded automation capabilities and improved usability. The highlight is the extended command line interface (CLI), which now supports additional functions for license management, profile management, and installation activation. This makes it easier to automate recurring tasks and integrate software management into existing IT workflows.

Products are now grouped by product family for clearer navigation, while revised texts and redesigned online documentation improve usability.

The release also includes reduced log output for scripting scenarios, a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM), and numerous stability and quality improvements.
