HALCON University License Information
The HALCON University License provides universities with a discounted version of the standard machine vision software package. Optional add-ons for deep learning are available. This edition includes full technical support for universities. Additionally, HALCON Steady guarantees long-term stability and comprehensive maintenance.
HALCON’s hardware independence ensures that universities can easily integrate machine vision into their curriculum and research, offering flexibility across various platforms and fostering innovation without being tied to specific hardware requirements.
MVTec's Embedded Vision
Embedded devices have become increasingly important in modern production scenarios of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT aka Industry 4.0). As a result embedded vision has gained great relevance for academic teaching and research. As part of the HALCON Progress Student Edition, all lecturers, researchers, and students can benefit from HALCON's machine vision power on Arm®-based platforms (currently limited to Raspberry Pi and NVIDIA Jetson boards).
