Calibrated 1D measuring with MVTec HALCON

Learn calibrated 1D measuring with HALCON. This tutorial covers setup and practical steps for accurate length measurement in machine vision.

With 1D measuring, edges, i.e., transitions from light to dark or from dark to light, can be located along a predefined line or arc. This allows you to measure the dimension of parts fast and easily with high accuracy. In this tutorial, we go through all steps that are necessary to perform such measurements precisely, either in pixels, or in meters.
