Working with Dictionaries in HALCON

In this tutorial, we show how to create and use dictionaries in MVTec HALCON: store and access values, work with JSON, and pass them to and from procedures.

First, you will learn how to create dictionaries and assign values to them, both with the available operators and the access expressions. Additionally, we will take a closer look at both the static and dynamic syntax of the access expressions. After that, we of course also want to access the values we stored in the dictionaries. Lastly, you will learn more about some uses cases for dictionaries, like the communication via JSON or the usage of dictionaries as generic input or output parameters of procedures.
