The new version HALCON 21.05 will be released on May 21, 2021 and comes with many new and improved features. These include optimized technologies for the sub-pixel bar code reader, HALCON's Deep OCR as well as HALCON's shape-based matching.

The upcoming version of MVTec HALCON will be released in May 2021. Until then, we will gradually release the most important features on our website. The third spotlight is about Deep OCR improvements, Generic Shape Matching, and the Deep Learning Framework.
