In the first presentation, Rainer Brehm, CEO Factory Automation at Siemens, Dr. Dietmar Ley, CEO of Basler AG and Dr. Munkelt announced the partnership.
In the afternoon, Klaus Schrenker and Dr. Stefan Ingo Meier from Siemens presented the benefits and use cases of the app in detail, as well as the technologies behind it (such as Global Context Anomaly Detection).
MVTec demonstrated its own functionalities and the associated flexibility in several ways: In the mentioned Hall 11, which was hosted by Siemens, there was also a demo to see in addition to the aforementioned presentations. The large audience was able to experience a battery inspection by MERLIC, which is integrated into the Siemens Edge ecosystem. Interested visitors were able to find more demonstrations at TTTech Industrial and at the Moxa booth, in which MERLIC played a key role in demos regarding Nerve - the IIoT platform specifically for machine builders. Another touchpoint was provided in Hall 6 at the MVTec booth, where the company's easy-to-use software was used to check printed circuit boards for defects.
